I'm sick and tired of the Gen Z bashing going for some time. It's nauseating, seriously!
"Oh, Gen Z doesn't care!" Did you care growing up? Ask your parents!
(Overly serious face): "More than 60% of employers reported that they don't want to hire Gen Z." Seriously? So who are you going to hire? Millennials won't take your scrappy, grunt-work, peanut-paying jobs. Generation alpha is too young, wait for at least 5 years till they can legally accept your entry level jobs and internships.
I heard a frustrated consultant recently say the only solution to get along with Gen Z is to fire everyone from top to bottom and hire Gen Z at every level.
I hate to announce this but this is not the solution; this is inevitable.
In a few years, you all will retire and Gen Z will be running the show. As they see fit. And they will probably be complaining against generation alpha. Just like you. And your parents before you.
People are people. Always scared it the new tech. Always wary of the next generation.
So the problem is not with Gen Z. But with the elders who think they're the pinnacle of reason. Newsflash: they are not!
As Ali ibn Abu Talib famously said, "Don't impose your ways on your children. You were born for a different time, they are born for a different time."
Thank you for your attention.
