If you have been following me or my work for any stretch of time, you probably know I freely share my influences and inspirations. A bit too freely, perhaps. Because a wise man once said, “The secret to creativity is knowing how to hide your sources.” It’s mostly attributed to Einstein, but that’s most likely a false attribution.
Anyway, that’s not the point.
The point is that you probably know by now that I don’t hold back. And I freely share whatever I know. Sometimes too freely.
And you probably know by now the list of people that I look up to and learn from the most. Steve Jobs, Walt Disney, Dan Kennedy, Ben Settle, Gary Halbert, John Carlton, David Ogilvy, Stan Lee … the usual suspects.
If I am to name two people who have had the greatest influence on my thinking and methodology, they would probably have to be Dan Kennedy and Ben Settle. And you probably already know that.
But what I have never done before is show you the way to reach them.
Two reasons: A. I’m a bit selfish and possessive about my treasures. B. You already have Google, you can search whatever you want.
But most of us are two lazy to do the most basic of things that would help us. And that includes a basic Google search too.
So, here’s what I’m gonna do: show you the doorway to Planet Dan.
