Hello there,

A gentleman unsubscribed from the email, telling me that I'm “annoying”, “direct”, and “rude”! :O

Ouch, lol. I honestly don't know whose emails they've been reading. I don't remember being direct (about what?) Or rude (how? And when?) Annoying, maybe, as it's not something that's supposed to be in your conscious control, lol.

Anyway, I felt bad for a split-second. But then, I went back to my inbox and read what some other members and subscribers have been saying.

One of the replies by the ever-so-lovely Leanne Guerts started with, “I read your email when I was waiting on the parking lot and you make

me smile,”

Well, this made me smile for sure! Responses like these want me to keep writing. And to keep creating more stuff. (I'll be sharing more about that in the days to come, so stay tuned and glued)

Then, there's Patt O’Neil. She's a rare gem. It's always a pleasure to hear from Patt! So when Patt says “I have eagerly been reading your emails …”, I know I'm on the right track.

Reminds me of what Emersin once said,

“To laugh often and much: To win the respect of intelligent people and the affection of children, to earn the appreciation of honest critics and endure the betrayal of false friends; to appreciate beauty, to find the best in others, to leave the world a bit better whether by a healthy child, a garden patch, or a redeemed social condition; to know even one life has breathed easier because you lived. This is to have succeeded.”

These messages showing the respect and love of intelligent people and honest critics, along with some other things, make me think I might have succeeded in some ways, after all.

In fact, this has been my intention from the first day. To keep the tribe engaged. And to let the uninterested folks exit screen left.

So here's the mandatory links to my beloved Athena and Discordia before signing off. The tales of love, magic and sheer madness from a world in chaos might be the perfect Halloween reading for you.

I wish you a very happy pumpkin fest.

Shakaib Feroz.

P.S. By the way, if you know anyone who'd enjoy being a part of our little tribe here, send them over to dastaanworld.com … they'll find a gift waiting for them.
