One of the things I learned from Dan Kennedy (and Ben Settle) is the principle of Unused Capacity.
The idea is to look for your time and resources which are being “wasted”, and put them to better use. Obvious, right? So why aren't you doing it already?
And on that note, here's a homework for you. Go to your local bookstore or Amazon and look for a book called “Obvious Adams”. And get yourself a copy. And read it. And then read it again. As many times as you can. And then once more.
And don't be lazy about it (look who's saying that), it's a very small book.
I can't recall the difficult sounding name of the author, and I'm too lazy to look it up. (See? But hey, I would look y up if this was a book or a more detailed article for Dastaan World Magazine instead of an email.)
So anyway, make yourself as much of an Obvious Adams as you can. And look for Unused Capacity in your work and life.
In fact, this email is sort of an exercise in making better use of Unused Capacity. As I've caught a cold with the changing weather in Dubai (everyone is sneezing and coughing around here these days), and I can barely thinking anything through.
So what's a man to do? A man is to exercise his beloved stream of consciousness writing muscles, and share the wisdom the ages stored in his mighty cranium.
Reminds me of when I once took a sick leave during my Employee Era and went out on a photography trip. My “boss” at that time exclaimed I had been more productive on my leave than my usual work days. 🤣
There was a reason Leonardo said people of genius sometimes work the best when they work the least.
